Wildwood Wonderland
Tumble down the rabbit hole into a Wildwood ‘Wonderland’ this Easter.
From Saturday 1st April – Sunday 30th April, the Mad Hatter will be hosting an infamous tea party in its 40-acre woodland wonderland. And everyone’s invited.
The resident wildcats will be grinning like …erm, Cheshire cats … and the dainty dormice will be playing the role of the teapot mice as the white rabbits lead visitors on an adventure they’ll remember for years to come.
An interactive trail will tell the story of Alice in Wonderland, with its infamous characters on hand to guide and goodie bags for those who make it to the end. There’ll be croquet for those brave enough to take on the Red Queen and a chance to dine at the Mad Hatter’s table before making some sweet treats to take home.
Craft workshops will also be running for ‘painting the roses red’ and there’ll be a dedicated themed photo area for visitors to capture the magic.
Those looking to take a leaf out of Alice’s book can also learn more about the residents of Wildwood – home to over 200 native animals – with talks from expert keepers about the ‘Cheshire’ wildcats and ‘tea pot’ dormice.

The Mad Hatter is busy decorating biscuits for his tea party and needs a helping hand. Can your little ones help him serve up a mad feast before his friends arrive?

- Daily between Easter Friday 7th April – Monday 10th April
- Ages 3-12 years old
- Each child leaves with their own biscuit
- Biscuits contain: Butter, Caster Sugar, Plain Flour (Gluten & Dairy)
